You may have heard about the trend sweeping spas and gyms alike in 2022 – hydrogen water.

In simple terms, hydrogen water is just normal water with a bit more H2 added. Adding hydrogen to water increases many of the already beneficial things about water, such as its antioxidant properties.

While there does need to be more research put into exploring molecular hydrogen water, there are already some noted benefits that need to be considered and, in this article, you will be introduced to 5 of them. Great!

Advantages Of Drinking Molecular Hydrogen Water

    Hydrogen Reduces Free Radicals

    Drinking Molecular Hydrogen Water

In the past, you may have heard of the term free radicals. These are potentially damaging and can cause issues with cellular damage or abnormal levels can increase the likelihood of you getting cancer.

But, by drinking hydrogen water or molecular hydrogen tablets, you can reduce the impact that these have on your body.

    Lower Inflammation Risk

You may have read somewhere online that athletes are big on consuming hydrogen water. Why do they do this? In theory, it is because when they are running or exercising, their body goes into an oxidative state. This means that it is more likely that they will experience inflammation in the long term. Inflamed muscles can and often do lead to muscle damage, which is bad in general, let alone if you are an athlete! Molecular hydrogen water reduces muscle fatigue and potential muscle damage by preventing the build-up of lactic acid in the muscles, which can lead to damage in the long term.

    Higher Energy

    Drinking Molecular Hydrogen Water

It goes without saying that if you are feeling tired and groggy, especially while working, you may need to increase your water intake.

If you regularly consume hydrogen water, you will note that this water is better at quenching your thirst and helps you to feel more awake. This is once again due to that added bit of hydrogen, which can act as a boost when your muscles are feeling tired from typing or running around all day at the office.

    Clearer Skin

Most people wish that their skin was clearer, especially women who are fed up with spending money on moisturizers and toners!

In a similar vein to the inflammation in the body, there is a range of conditions that occur on the skin due to inflammation, such as psoriasis, acne, and eczema. While some of these will require the use of specific medications to reduce them, all of them could benefit from the consumption of molecular hydrogen water each day as part of a balanced diet. Skin is an organ and if it is inflamed, you need to reduce the inflammation that is occurring internally. As mentioned earlier, due to the reduction of lactic acid and free radicals associated with hydrogen water, this is an easy way to ensure that the inflammation reduces.

    Lower Type 2 Diabetes Risk

    Drinking Molecular Hydrogen Water

In the Western World, type-2 diabetes is on the rise. While drinking hydrogen water alone is not the one size fits all solution to this issue, it does seem to improve type-2 diabetes by preventing or reducing stress through excess oxygen in the body.
